Have you got that Monday morning feeling?

You know that knot which starts in the stomach. That dreaded feeling of having to return to work after the weekend. The thought and worry of all that you need to do without self worth at the end. Its that Monday morning feeling that comes with the 'rat-race'.

As sure as day follows night and Eastenders ends with a "duff duff" there is still Mondays for Christians. Its just that we have handed our lives over to Jesus our Lord who want's so much more for us. God with infinite power, no beginning, no middle and no end. Our Creator planning our lives and leading us as we follow Him with obedience. I'm just in awe of that. Knowing that, how could there possibly be that Monday morning feeling?

As a New Christian God's message really puts things into perspective and gives a nudge at a deeper level and Matthew 7:25-27 has those very words.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
